Preparation makes the difference
A fresh coat of paint works best on a suitable surface. We check for loose paint, cracks, uneven areas and damp patches. We then discuss cleaning, sanding, repairs and the right paint system. A damp problem needs attention to its cause first; painting over it will not solve it.
Before we start, we agree which furniture needs moving, what needs covering and which rooms must stay accessible. We also discuss colours, finishes and materials beforehand. Would you like to buy the paint yourself? Check with the painter first to make sure it is suitable.
How much does interior painting cost?
Our hourly rate is €50 excluding VAT, with a minimum booking of 4 hours. Travel time is charged separately. There are no call-out or parking fees: our team arrives by bicycle or cargo bike.
The total cost depends on the area, the condition of the walls and woodwork, the preparation and the number of coats. We discuss paint, materials and any repairs beforehand. Clear photos and a short description help us assess the job; where possible, we will estimate the hours needed.
